1st Arabic Skydiving Competition
The first Arab Parachuting Championship and the sixth Jeddah International Parachuting Championship were held from April 10 to 17, 2008, under the supervision of the Arab Federation for Air Sports and in cooperation with the Saudi Aviation Club.
The drop zone was located in one of the areas along the Jeddah Corniche. The arrangements for conducting the championship activities were organized in terms of air traffic control and providing two aircraft landing zones. Additionally, two helicopters (Super Puma and Black Hawk) were used at the championship site to ensure continuous execution of the jumps.
