The Royal Moroccan Federation of Light and Sport Aviation organized the second Arab Parachuting Championship excellently, in collaboration with the Moroccan Armed Forces, and it was held under the supervision of the Arab Federation for Air Sports from July 23-31, 2008.

The drop zone was one of the areas of the Oued R’rirag valley, located about 5 kilometers from the center of Rabat and beneath the historic Hassan Tower plateau. The arrangements for carrying out the championship activities were well-organized in terms of air traffic control and the presence of safety boats in the waters of the R’rirag River, with two helicopters stationed at the championship site to ensure continuous jumps. All technical equipment, devices, and administrative facilities required for the championship were provided in a complete and excellent manner.
